2nd DC failed to setup correctly during powershell steps. Took 2 tries to complete lab. 2nd attempt had same issue with powershell on ad-dc2. Rebooted and found machine was in a workgroup example-gcp. manually added into domain example-gcp, rebooted, then was able to proceed with steps normally and complete lab.
