The lab does not correspond to the title.....it is supossed to be about cloud IoT but in fact it is about cloud data proc...I threw away the credits for this

GCP won't allow you to create a bucket whose name starts with google, so $USER isn't a good prefix for names.

There was an error at this command in SSH: CommandException: "cp" command does not support provider-only URLs. :(

there is an error which needs to be corrected.. the bucket name cannot have google in prefix and prevents execution of mybucket command

That was pretty involving, but the suggested bucket name from the project ID contains the word "google", so I wasn't permitted to create a bucket using that as part of the name.
